Sites - FAQs

Overview:

A Site should be created for any business location or outlet that you wish to do inventory control for.  The most common example of a Site is a restaurant or a commissary. A single location restaurant operator should create one Site.  A restaurant chain should create a Site for each restaurant location.

Things to know!

  • Sites are set up and maintained in Company>Setup>Sites.
  • The Sites feature will only be available to System Administrators.
  • You can assign Users to specific Sites and you can control what features in COGS-Well they do or do not have access to.
  • Inventory, Recipe, Sales, and Theoretical reporting can be done for each unique Site.
  • Each Site can be interfaced with your accounting system, POS system, and vendor(s) or invoice automation system (like Plate IQ).
  • Sites can be assigned all or some of the Items, vendors, accounts, and settings that have been set up for a Company.
