Site Maps

Overview:

The Site Maps feature enables you to map (link) Integrations to a Site(s). Integrations are set up for you by COGS-Well support and they are used to import data from your other systems such as your POS or Vendor Invoice systems.

Mapping should normally be handled by COGS-Well support. Unless you have a strong understanding of this feature, we request that you contact support@cogs-well.com. 

Things to know!

• Only Users who have been given access to this feature will be able to see or access it.
• The Integrations in Site Maps are set up by the COGS-Well support team. If an Integration you desire has not been set up, please contact COGS-Well support.
• The COGS-Well support team typically sets up your Site Maps for you. 
• Mapping should normally be handled by COGS-Well support. Unless you have a strong understanding of this feature, we request that you contact support@cogs-well.com.
• A Site Map is needed for each unique Integration that you want to map to a Site.
• Use this feature for the POS system and Vendor Invoice system Site Maps only (not Accounting). Accounting Site Maps should be set up or edited via the Accounting>Setup>Accounting - Site Maps feature.

Add, Edit, or Delete Site Maps:

To access Sites maps navigate to Tools>Mapping>Site Maps and you will see a display similar to the one below:

The above screen columns display the Site Maps already set up in your system.  A Site Map is created for each Integration that needs to be Mapped to a Site.

To add a new Site Map, click on the "+" key. To edit an existing Site Map, click the "Edit" key in the same row as the Site you want to edit.   A screen similar to below will appear if you select to add or edit a Site Map.

Site: Required field to define your Site.  Use the drop-down to search Sites. 

Integration Name: Required field to define the Integration name.  Integration names are the same as Controller Tasks and they are set up for you by the COGS-Well support team. 

Site Code: Site Codes reflect the code that your outside system is using to identify your Site. Do not edit this field unless you know the proper Site Code. 

Save, Delete, and Exit:

At the bottom of the screen are the Save, Delete, and Exit buttons.

Save - Saves the entry or entries without exiting.

Delete - Deletes the Map. You will be asked, "are you sure"?

Exit -  Exits without saving any new entries or edits.
