More Detail:

More detailed explanations of the updates and enhancements listed above are provided below:

Transfer Combined and Recipe Items: If they are flagged to be counted, a Combined Item and a Recipe Item can now be included in the Transfer entry features. Please know that if a Recipe Item is transferred, then the Usage Report and the Usage Variance report will report the transferred quantities of the recipe's ingredients in the transfer column on these reports.

Transfer Fulfillment Entry Without a Transfer Request: This option will only exist if it is enabled in the Options, on the General Tab, of your Company Settings (please see below):

The reason the above option has been added is a manager at one restaurant location sometimes calls a manager at another location to see if they have an item they need.  If the manager at the location receiving the call has the item, and if it is an urgent situation, that manager may send the transfer out right away. This option enables the manager that fulfilled the transfer to enter it without a request and it frees the manager up that receives the transfer from having to enter a transfer request for items that have already been fulfilled. The plus button (highlighted below) has been added and is used to Fulfill a transfer that does not have a Request.

Transfer Journal Adjustment Report: A Transfer Journal Report has been added to the Inventory Reports Menu.  It reports the debit and credit adjustments resultant from transfers made over a selected date range. An example is below:

Order To Quantity on the Ordering Worksheet: We had several requests to add the Order To Quantity to the Ordering Worksheet so the viewer could see what the suggested order quantity is ordering to.  Order To Quantities for Items are assigned to Par Levels and a Par Level can be selected when printing the Ordering Worksheet. Below is an example of the updated Ordering Worksheet:

All features and options related to Storage Locations can be disabled in Company Settings: We have customers that do not use our Storage Location features and options because they prefer to enter their inventory count valuations by Inventory Category. If you do not use Storage Locations and want to eliminate them from the menus and displays, you can disable Storage Locations in Company Settings (see below). Please be advised that checking the box to disable storage locations will do the following:

  1. Eliminate all Storage Location features from the menus.
  2. Hide the storage location tab from counted Inventory, Combined, and Recipe Items.
  3. Hide bin number options.
  4. Hide the storage location grid on the dashboard when you are logged into a site.
  5. Hide the storage location options from counts, the count worksheet, and the extension report.

The Sales Mix Report has an added column that shows a Sales Item's percentage of total sales: A column was added to the far right side of the sales mix report to show a sales item's revenue contribution as a percentage of total sales revenue (see below):

The Item Activity Listing now includes the ability to review invoice images:  The Item Activity Listing is accessed via Inventory>Listings>Item Activity. You can select a date range and an item and view all the transaction activity for that item over the selected date range.  There are tabs to look at counts, orders, receipts, and transfers, etc. If you select to look at the Receipts tab, you can now select to see an image of the invoice for that transaction (if images are captured).  Please see below:

The Inventory Count Entry feature has an added filter to find items that have not been counted: We already have a Toggle Filter on the top right of the inventory count entry display that if selected would filter for only the items that had a count quantity entry (see below).  Some customers also want to see only the items that do not have a count quantity entered (the fields are blank) to verify that they did not miss any items they intended to count. The Toggle Filter has been upgraded. If you click it once, it turns green and filters as it always has for only items with count quantities.  If you click it again, it now turns red and filters for blank count quantities. If you click it a third time, it goes back to no filter. In the first example below, the Toggle Filter has not been clicked. Please notice that the Corned Beef Brisket and the Sliced Pastrami items have blank counts. In the second example below the Toggle Filter has been clicked twice. It is red and shows the two meat items that had blank item counts.

Multi-SiteInventory Usage Variance report: This report provides companies that operate multiple restaurant sites to run a Usage Variance report that lists all Sites on the same report. If a user such as a District Manager has been set up with specific assigned Sites, when this user runs the report it will only include the Sites assigned to them. The Variance in quantity and as a percentage of Pack Size is reported for each Site.
