Assign Recipe Items to Sites

Overview:

The Assign Recipe Items to Sites feature enables you to assign Recipe Items to a Site or Sites. This feature enables you to assign some, or all, recipe items in your Company database to a Site.

Things to Know!

  • The Assign Recipe Items to Sites feature will only be available to a System Administrator.
  • COGS-Well support will often perform this feature for you.
  • Recipe Items can also be assigned to Sites as part of adding or editing a Recipe Item in the setup function. Using this function, however, enables you to assign multiple items to a Site at the same time.
  • This function is most commonly used when a new Site is set up.
  •  COGS-Well support typically will have assigned your Recipe Items to at least one of your Sites as part of your initial setup.

Assign Inventory Items to Sites:

To access this feature navigate to Recipes & Sales>Maintenance>Assign Recipe Items to Sites. Upon selection of this feature, all of your Sites will be displayed as shown in the example below. Next, select the Site you wish to edit:

Assign Recipe Items: The dual list box shown in the example below provides the ability to select recipe items to assign to a Site. You can also move a recipe item that has already been selected, back to the available column to deselect a recipe item. You can search either column for specific items:

  • Available and Selected: Listed under the Available column are all the active Recipe items that are available to be assigned to this Site, but have not been assigned. Listed under the Selected column are all the Items that have been assigned to this Site. To move an Item from one selection to another, check the box by the item you want to move and then hit the arrow direction you want to move them to.

Save, and Exit:

At the bottom of the screen are the Save, Delete, and Exit buttons.

Save - Saves the entry or entries without exiting.

Exit -  Exits without saving any new entries or edits.
