Receiving by Combined Item Report

Overview:

The Receiving By Combined Item Report will report the receiving activity for a combined item as well as the items that are linked to a combined item.

Things to know!

• The Receiving By Combined Item Report will report the receiving activity for the items that are linked to a combined item.
• This report will only be accessible and visible to users who are given access to this report function. 
• Invoice item detail is available via drilling down on the Quantity Received when the report is displayed.  

Report Parameters:

To Run a Receiving By Combined Item Report, navigate to Inventory>Reports>Receiving>Receiving By Combined Item. Upon selection, a Report Parameters screen like the one below will display:

Site: If you are logged into your Company (versus a Site), then you will be required to select a Site.  Use the drop-down to select the Site. 

Begin Date: From the drop-down calendar, select a starting date range. 

End Date: From the drop-down calendar, select an ending date range. 

Detail or Summary: This report will run in detail (includes the linked inventory items) or summary (summarizes the activity by combined item).

Combined Item Group: If you want to view only one Group, use the drop-down search to select the Group. 

Combined Item: If you want to view only one combined item, use the drop-down to select the item.  

Run Report: Once you have selected your report parameters, click the Run Report button to list the report.

Receiving By Combined Item Report - Detail:

Selecting to Run the Receiving By Item Report with detail will display a report similar to the one below:

Each combined item is listed along with the inventory items that are linked to it.

The receiving activity for each combined item, using the common pack size, reports the pack cost, received quantity, and received cost.

The receiving activity for the inventory items that are linked to each combined item is reported beneath each combined item.

You can drill down on the item quantity received for each inventory item to see the receiving activity detail for the date range selected. Below we have drilled down on the Frito VTY item:

Receiving By Combined Item Report - Summary:

Selecting to Run the Receiving By Item Report, in summary, will display a report similar to the one below. The receiving activity is summarized by combined item (no inventory item detail):
