Release Notes - Version 24.05.01

Overview:

Release 24.05.01 went live on 5/21/2024. Below is a bullet list of the updates and new features in this new release. 

  • A new set of features for Suggested Prep
  • The ability to add comments to Transfer transactions
  • Additional Inventory Reports can now be Filtered for Vendor Groups

New Suggested Prep: The new Suggested Prep features will suggest the quantity to prepare for recipe items that are prepared in advance (before they are sold or used in another recipe item that is sold). COGS-Well refers to these items as "Prepared Recipe Items" or "Prep Items".

Suggested Prep can calculate the theoretical quantity on hand, adjust for shelf life, calculate a usage projection, and then suggest the quantity for each Prep Item to prepare. Please click this link to Suggested Prep - FAQs for a full review of the new Suggested Prep features.

Add Comments to Transfer Transactions: A comment field has been added to the Transfer Criteria display to enter comments. Saved comments will be displayed in a column on the Transfer Find Grid for easy reference:


Inventory Reports Filtered for Vendor Groups: If you have set up Vendor Groups then many of the Inventory Reports can now be filtered for a specific Vendor Group on the report parameters display. The reports that can be filtered by Vendor Group are listed below:
