Mass Switch or Modify Ingredients

Overview:

The Ingredient Switch feature makes sense to utilize when an ingredient is used in multiple Recipe Items and you want to make a change for an ingredient across all or most of the Recipe Items that it is used in.

The Ingredient Switch feature can be used to replace an ingredient with another ingredient (an example is changing from using corn oil to canola oil). It can also be used to change the Recipe Unit Type for an ingredient (an example is switching from using salt by the weighted ounce to by the gram). It can also be used to change the Recipe Unit Quantity for an ingredient (an example is increasing the portion size for bacon from 1 weighted ounce to 1.5 weighted ounces).

Ingredient Switch can also be utilized as a tool to view all of the recipes an ingredient is used in without making any changes to the ingredient. Please note that any change made using this feature will be "global" to every recipe that the ingredient is used in, but you will have the option to control this.
