Report Books
Overview:
The Report Books feature is used to email a Report Book manually to a selected User or Users. This feature is typically only used for testing or to send a Report Book to a User or Users not scheduled to receive it automatically via Controller Actions.
Things to Know:
- Report Books eliminate the requirement for a User to manually run a report or set of reports.
- Report Books can be scheduled to be automatically delivered via Controller Actions.
- Report Books can be configured to include one or more reports and for one or multiple Sites.

Navigation:
Navigate to Tools>Report Books>Report Books to access a Report Book.
Upon selection of Report Books, you will see a display like the one below:
Report Book: You can use the drop-down to select a Report Book that has already been configured. For this example, we have clicked on the drop-down to select from two Report Books that we have already configured. We will select the End of Period Reporting Report Book:
Effective Date: This is the date that the Date Math Syntax in the Report Template or Templates that are in the selected Report Book will utilize.
Email Address: The email address will default to the address for your User Login. However, you can change it to a new address. You can also enter more than one email address by putting a semi-colon and a space after each address.
Output File Type: Use the drop-down to select your desired file type. The options are PDF, CSV, Excel, Web Archive, or Word. For this example, we have clicked on the drop-down:
Run Report: Run Report will launch the Report Book and send it to the selected email address.
