Waste Worksheet
Overview:
The Waste Worksheet is used to record Waste counts for Inventory and Recipe Items before entering them via the Waste Entry feature. An example of the worksheet is below:
Things to know!
- This worksheet will only be accessible and visible to users who are given access to this function.
- The Waste Worksheet runs for a specific Site.
- Inventory Items and Recipe Items can be counted and entered as
- The Waste Worksheet will only list items that have been assigned to a Waste Item Group. For more information on Waste Item Groups, please see this link: Waste Item Group Setup.
Waste Worksheet Parameters:
To Run a Waste Worksheet, use the Sidebar to navigate to the Waste menu option and then select the Waste Worksheet from the submenu. Upon selection, a parameters screen like the one below will display:
Waste Date: Select the date from the calendar for when the Waste occurred.
Site: Select the Site from the drop-down search that you are recording Waste for. You will only be asked to enter a site if you are logged into your Company (versus a site).
Waste Item Group: Select a Waste Item Group. This will enable you to include only the Items in that Waste Group. For example, you might have a Waste Group for Inventory Items and another Waste Group for Recipe Items because each group is tracked by a different User.
Run Report: Once you have selected your report parameters, click the Run Report button to list the report.

Selecting to Run the Waste Worksheet Report will display a report similar to the one below:
Waste counts can be entered for Pack Size, Count Unit, or a combination. For Recipe Items, the Pack Size is the Batch Size.
