What Interfaces does COGS-Well Offer?

Overview:

COGS-Well has developed interfaces for 4 other types of systems which COGS-Well shares data with.  These interfaces either import data from the other system into COGS-Well or export data from COGS-Well to the other systems (or sometimes both).  The COGS-Well support team sets up other system interfaces for you, based on your requirements. 

System Interface Types

POS Systems: 

COGS-Well interfaces with numerous Point of Sale (POS) systems to import the sales mix (sometimes called PMIX) from the POS system into Sales Counts in COGS-Well.  Sales Counts drive most of the theoretical cost or usage-related reporting in GOS-Well. POS Interfaces exist for:

Accounting Systems: 

COGS-Well can import GL accounts and Vendors from an accounting system.  COGS-Well can also export invoices to accounts payable, and an ending inventory valuation, transfer, and production adjustments to a general ledger. Accounting system interfaces exist for:

Vendor Systems: 

COGS-Well can import Invoices and Order Guides (Inventory Item lists) from Vendors who have systems that can export this information. COGS-Well can also export orders to Sysco, US Foods, Ben E. Keith, and Performance Food Group. Vendor system interfaces exist for:

AP Automation Systems: 

AP Automation systems allow for paper invoices to be scanned or photographed and then converted into digital invoice information. AP Automation systems can then pass invoice summary cost and payment information to an accounts payable system. COGS-Well can import Items, Vendors, and Invoices from an AP Automation system.  AP Automation system interfaces exist for:

  • Plate IQ
  • Chouxbox. 

POS Financial Totals to Accounting Systems: 

COGS-Well has a product named POS+ that can be used as a standalone system or in conjunction with COGS+.  POS+ imports financial totals (revenue, payment, and statistical totals) from your POS and reports on these totals.  POS+ can be configured to report POS financial information as credit and debit entries for your general ledger. Once you review this information, you can also post it directly into your GL. POS Financial Total interfaces exist for:
