Release Notes - Version 24.05.02

Overview:

Release 24.05.02 went live on 6/6/24. Below is a bullet list of the updates and new features in this new release. 

  • A new option to store encrypted passwords.
  • A new option to close and open non-valuation inventory counts.
  • The Item Group can now be changed after a count has been saved.
  • Sales Item Maps can now handle the same POS Sales Item, with different recipes, at different Sites.
  • The Order Summary Report now includes the "Sent On" date and time.
  • The Order Find Screen now includes columns for the "Received On" date and the "Document Number".
  • Support for Prep Stations has been added to the Prep and Production Worksheet and Entry features.

Added Password Security: You can now encrypt login passwords if desired. The setup to use this feature requires a COGS-Well support team member. Please contact support@cogs-well.com if you would like to use this feature.

Open and Close Non-Valuation Counts: Until now, only counts that were entered as Valuation Counts could be closed or reopened. Now, counts entered for a Group can also be closed or reopened. Please click these links if you would like more information on the Count Entry, Close Inventory, or Reopen Inventory features.

Sales Item Maps: There is a new tab on the Sales Item Maps titled Site Item Overrides that can be used to address POS Sales Items that have different recipes at different Sites in COGS-Well. An example is a Tequila Sunrise that uses different Tequillas at different sites. Please contact support@cogs-well.com if you would like more information on this update to Sales Item Maps.

Order Summary Report: The Order Summary Report now includes a column that displays a "Sent On" column that shows the date and time the order was sent to the vendor:

Order Find Screen: If "Show Received Orders" is enabled on the Ordering Tab in your Company Settings, then the Order Find Screen will include columns for the "Received On" date and the vendor's "Document Number":

Prep Stations for Prep and Production: If you have or want to set up Prep Stations, they can now be utilized by the Prep and Production Worksheets, and by the Prep and Production entry features.
